Upon her head a platted hive of straw,

Terra Battle has a release date now that it has been in soft-launch for about a month.

According to Touch Arcade, it will be exiting soft-launch on October 9th as that's when it will be officially released.

We've been "cautiously optimistic" about Terra Battle. Not just because it's the latest game from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, but because we've been playing it.

It's an RPG stripped down to its bare bones, with a focus on tactical tile-based battles. You have to move your units around to take out monsters by surrounding or flanking them.

It's a complex game - although it might not look it - that lies somewhere between board game, RPG, puzzler, and card battler.

You can read much more about Terra Battle and our first impressions of it in our preview.

One thing we are looking out for, however, is the game's apparent time-based energy system. We'll see if they come into play when the game launches next Thursday.

Presumably, that date applies to iOS and Android. We'll let you know if we hear otherwise.

On Twitter earlier today, Playdead announced that it'd be bringing both LIMBO and INSIDE to Nintendo Switch on June 28th. Though I originally thought they might be part of a joint package, it looks like they'll be arriving separately.
INSIDE and LIMBO on Nintendo Switch - Worldwide June 28. https://t.co/mXL2JZJGx6— Playdead (@Playdead) June 20, 2018 LIMBO and INSIDE are two seriously amazing monochromatic games that tell deeply engaging stories with no words at all. Playdead's killer method is its imagery and level design, and it's hard to play through these games and not feel something during your session.

LIMBO's been out on mobile for a little while now, among other platforms, and INSIDE finally crept out on iOS at the end of last year. If you're not familiar with either story, however, do bear in mind that they are for older audiences and contain some rather unsettling imagery.

That being said, both games are brilliant. I think I own LIMBO on about four different platforms now - both iOS and Android included - and I'm pretty sure I'll still end up buying it on Nintendo Switch, too. Don't judge me.

I'll be interested to see what price Playdead is looking at, more so for LIMBO (since it's a much older game), and would hope that things are kept fairly reasonable.

What do you guys think? Are you thinking about picking these up for the Switch? "`John--John,' I called out--jest like that--jest like a frightened child, `wake up--wake up.'Update on February 22nd at 16:51: After chatting with the developer, We can confirm that an Android version is indeed coming later this year.
We don't have a firm date yet but we'll let you know as soon as we have more on this.

Back in 2011, a little game called Dungeon Raid took my iDevice by storm. It was simple and its graphics left a lot to be desired but, as the saying goes, you shouldn't judge an app by it's icon.

It was a fun, addictive match-3 that successfully included RPG elements.

You had to be careful of your life points while leveling up your character and increasing both its offence and defence stats. It was quite a tough balance and you were eventually doomed to fail.

But you had to come back for one more game, hoping to get a higher score this time around.

Sadly, Fireflame Games didn't make a follow up or a new game after that.

Until now.

Released just today on the App Store, the mysterious I Keep Having This Dream seems to take the idea of Dungeon Raid and expanding its concept to a board-like world.

You'll have to use tiles to make your way out of your dreams. Returning from Dungeon Raid is the leveling system that is now composed of more than 25 perks.
The game's out now on the App Store for £1.49And if you haven't bought Dungeon Raid by now, It's on sale for the low price of £0.79 for the first time since 2012.
[Source]

Detective Grimoire developer SFB Games took home first prize at our most recent Big Indie Pitch - held in the belly of Apps World in London - with its game, Launchasaurus.

Which, to be honest, could have won on its name alone.

Second place went to Cobe The Gallery. Crap! I'm Broke was in third place.

Launchasaurus is a mad mix of curling and palaeontology, as you snap together dinosaur bones to make a crazy skeletal structure - which you then lob at a pile of dino eggs in the hopes of knocking them into the collection zone.

There's a smart strategy to the game where big dinosaurs can shunt eggs easily, but are also unwieldy. Plus, you've got a limited stock of bones to use across multiple throws so you'll have to plan ahead and not run out of femurs and skulls.

As you play you unlock more bones - and you can check out your collection in a cute little museum - or you can pay cash for a premium dig to get a guaranteed stack of fresh calcium. You'll choose which bones you take with you on your next dig.

And by dig I mean throwing bones at eggs which I don't think is how palaeontology works but then again it's been years since I saw Jurassic Park.

Launchasaurus is free to play and will be released on both iOS and Android after some soft launch shenanigans. We'll give you a shout when it's out.

Update: Lost Centuria has been released, and we have a beginners guide as well as the tier list of best characters to help you out with the game!

The recently announced Summoners War: Lost Centuria is the latest entry in the popular Summoner's War series. It takes the monsters and lore from Summoners War: Sky Arena and combines it with real-time strategy into something that the series hasn't done previously.

You might have already heard about Summoners War: Lost Centuria, it was effectively announced last week, and a lot of the existing Summoners War community seemed very excited to spread the word, clearly compelled by the idea. The core game in the series, Summoner's War: Sky Arena is a turn-based strategy MMO where you can choose from rune sets to customise your character and the monsters that fight for you. There are over 1000 monsters in the game, as well as a refined guild and crafting systems. Lost Centuria, however, is a real-time strategy game focused almost entirely around the monsters from the game - and using a card-based battle system.

“We’re shaking up the Summoners War universe with Lost Centuria by taking everything our fans love about Sky Arena and combining it with an active battle system that’s sure to create an all new competitive landscape,” said Com2uS CEO James Song. “This has been an incredible year for Summoners War as we consistently take the IP in new and unexpected directions. The demand for more Summoners War is there and we aim to fill it.”

We're happy to be able to reveal a Cinematic Trailer, and a Teaser Trailer, for the new game, ahead of its CBT (closed beta test) which takes place from Nov 21-30 for people who sign up on the Summoners War: Lost Centuria Google Play page.
"Now, now, Cornelia," remonstrated Captain Jim, who had been reading a sea novel in a corner of the living room, "you shouldn't say that about those two poor, motherless Gilman boys, unless you've got certain proof. Jest because their father ain't none too honest isn't any reason for calling them thieves. It's more likely it's been the robins took your cherries. They're turrible thick this year."

It's set to release for both iOS and Android in November, though you might be able to download it on the latter right now.

Evo Pop will see players breeding a plethora of colourful little cube-shaped creatures, the titular Evos. They'll start with a single organism before breeding them until they have enough to achieve world domination. To do so they'll have to climb to the top of the food chain by duplicating, growing, jumping, and evolving to get there.
Heard where his plants in others' orchards grew;
We not only enhance the ease of gameplay but also reduce the distractions, so we came up with the no ads policy under which this version removes and blocks all the advertisements appearing in the gameplay and disturbing the flow. This modified version also doesn’t require users to root it from other sources. It so enables a safe and secure gaming environment. Because of its no root requirements, it also ensures the antiban and antivirus properties in the variant, so you dont need to bother about any of the things and enjoy the gameplay.
