Escapes -Colorful Survival Shape Match Puzzle Game Mission (Mod Apk)

If the Monster Hunter series has one problem, it's in finding new players. Common complaints from newcomers are the controls being clunky, and attacking too slow and unresponsive.

While I can't say these issues have been resolved - they're an integral part of why old hands still love the game - 4U does its very best to drop you into the core experience right away.

You're the only hunter in a new caravan of misfits, so it's your job to help out your crew and other NPCs by defeating big ol' beasties and completing the odd fetch quest as you travel from one base camp to the next.

Most quests from the guildmarm revolve around slaying, or capturing, a monster. These beasts would be bosses in any other game. They're often large, and can take the better part of an hour to defeat if you aren't experienced.

Indeed, a few monsters near the start of my journey took several attempts (a few hours) to get past. I was too hasty with my attack style at first, so I kept being knocked around until I failed the mission.

Monster Hunter is all about learning each monster's attack patterns and weak points, and which weapon type your play style is best suited to. It's a huge time sink, but once you're on the hook you won't even notice the hours melting away.

You can't level up your character in Monster Hunter. Instead, you boost stats with weapons and armour. These can be bought ready-made from the armoury, but it soon becomes apparent you need the smithy to fashion your gear if you want to make any progress.

The smithy can only make weapons and armour from monster drops, and it's recommended you work towards a custom set built around the skills you want to use most.

There are many more advantages in completing an armour set rather than mixing and matching. It's not just about defence, but also skills like improved evasion, resistance, gathering skills, or even chances to stun enemies.

Peculiarly, there's a shared sentiment between Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing. Acquiring monster parts to complete sets of armour isn't unlike maxing my feng shui rating with a furniture set, and there's a seemingly neverending number of weapon and armour combinations to discover.

That's not all you're collecting though. Scattered across each map are ore deposits, bug nests, fishing spots, and berry bushes. Many of the items you'll find at each can't be bought, and combining them is key for stronger potions, ammo, and even smithy goods.

You'll start the game with a default Palico, formerly known as a Felyne. This kitty will join you on the battlefield and help fend off monsters, heal you, and gather the occasional batch of spoils.

More are recruitable once you reach four-star quests, at which point you can also start playing two minigames that reward you with scraps for Palico armour and weapons. One is a simple fishing game and the other is a short, cutesy battle adventure.

Your cat crew can level up through these minigames by joining you on quests, resulting in their abilities improving. Each kitty has a certain focus and special ability, like healing or treasure gathering. However, you can only take two cats with you in single player, so think carefully as to what you need assistance with most.

Aside from quests, you can also go on expeditions, where you'll fight two monsters and have a chance to discover rare items, a new Palico, or even a new outfit for your pet Poogie.

There's also the multiplayer mode, which is where most experienced hunters will say you'll have the most fun. As you can imagine, the gathering halls are a tad sparse at the moment, but the few quests I've had with three other players have been an absolute blast.

The most fun battle I've had so far was in single player though, on a ship between two base camps. There, I fought the Monster Hunter 4's flagship monster, Gore Magala, in a great mix of close quarters combat and cannon fire.

Some areas in the new stages are tiered, meaning you can attack monsters from above, and even mount them to give them one heck of a beatdown. One of 4U's two new weapons, the Insect Glaive, also enables you to launch yourself into the air for repeated mounted attacks even in flat areas.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate seems like the deepest Monster Hunter so far. I haven't yet tried my hand at wielding each weapon type and, despite 40-odd hours of game time, I feel like I've barely scraped the surface.

We'll have a review for you with more details on multiplayer and what to expect later in the game ahead of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's February 13 release date.
&#;

Of young, of old, and sexes both enchanted,

&#;
A whole host of Pokemon Shield and Sword details were revealed today including new Galarian Pokemon forms alongside two new Pokemon. We also learned about two more of our rivals and a few other bits.

The most interesting news was the Galarian forms that were revealed. These are variants of existing Pokemon that have adapted to life in the Galar region. First up there's Weezing's new form which sees the gaseous ball becoming a poison/fairy type. It's going to be a divisive design but I think it's genius.

Next up is a more straightforward looking variant in the Zigzagoon family. Both Galarian Zigzagoon and it's evolution Linoone are normal/dark and will sport a new black and white new look. However, it will now also have a third evolution called Obstagoon, which looks like a badger who lifts daily.
German adventure game studio Daedalic has announced that it's bringing the PC point-and-click adventure Deponia to iPad this August.

We already knew it was on the way as Daedalic announced its plans to bring not just Deponia but most of its catalogue of PC adventure games to iOS at GDC last year.

What's new here is the release window. We also know that it'll cost £7.99 / $9.99 when it hits the App Store.

If you're not familiar with Deponia, it has you play as trash tinkerer Rufus as he attempts to escort a woman called Goal out of the slums and back to the privileged sky city of Elysium from which she fell.

It plays as a traditional point-and-click adventure with silly humour, inventory-based puzzles, and a bunch of oddball characters.
CHAPTER 17
The Hearthstone team at Blizzard are notoriously slow to make changes to the game. They prefer, instead, to see if inventive deck builders in the community can solve problems on their behalf.

Sometimes, though, a problem becomes so clear they their hands get forced. Now is one such time: in the wake of The Witchwood expansion, a bunch of cards got nerfed.

What are these changes, and what do they mean for the game?
Warlock Woe
The biggest slam got reserved for the control Warlock archetype, particularly Cubelock. It got hit twice. First, Dark Pact now only heals 4 health. Second, Possessed Lackey costs one mana point extra, up to 6.

Cubelock was so powerful and so popular that it was essentially dictating how all the other decks could play. Its access to heals and early board clears forced aggro decks out of contention. And its ability to summon Voidlord walls early lead to every deck running Silence effects. Having its dark wings clipped is very welcome.

At first glance, though, these changes look well balanced. Both cards are still playable, albeit at a reduced level of power. And Cubelock has plenty of other tricks to keep it alive, some of which got used by variant versions of the deck.

Plated Beetles is still a great defensive early minion. Siphon Soul is still a terrific board clear and removal combo. And if it can survive long enough, Twisting Nether and Faceless Manipulator can keep it in contention.

The deck is down, but it's not out yet.
Paladin Pain
Call to Arms, often reckoned as about the best single card in the game right now, also took a hit. Its cost has gone up by one to 5 mana.

This is super smart design. The card saw most frequent use in the Even Paladin deck. It was very powerful there because the even-cost only restriction meant it always pulled out three 2-cost minions. However, now the cost is odd, so it no longer fits.

It does, of course, fit in Odd Paladin. But it's far less useful there as, again, due to the cost restrictions, it will only pull 1-cost minions. So although this may be the end of the Even archetype, Paladin players still have Odd (and Murloc) to fall back on. But they won't want to run this card.

Call to Arms is so useful, though, that we may now see a return for the previous "dude" Paladin deck, without any of this cost-restriction nonsense.

Rogue RueCaverns Below, the Rogue Quest, is likely the most hated card in Standard format. If you can pull off its awkward requirements, its owner is almost guaranteed to win. And watching them freeze and dismiss your board while they try is no fun at all.

The loathing started as soon as it got released, so it had a cost increase back then to make it less effective. Some cards in The Witchwood made it viable again, though, so now it's suffered the ignominy of a second downgrade. Now it's no longer as powerful as once it was, although it's still a potential game winner.

Don't give it to the temptation of that potential. It's a hateful card. Good riddance to bad rubbish. If you want to play the class, try Odd Rogue or Tempo Rogue while the meta settles.
Druid Disaster
Spiteful Summoner is yet another victim of a cost increase. This one feels like the least fair of the changes, but it's still valid. If the Summoner pulled something like an 8/8 giant, it wasn't such a big deal. But it had just as much chance of pulling Tyrantus or Deathwing and that was often game over.

Much like the change to Possessed Lacky, this one leaves the card viable. Spiteful Priest wasn't a top-tier deck but it worked, and it will continue to work despite this change. Spiteful Druid, however, isn't looking so great.

Ironically, because the Summoner is still worthwhile, it's not this change that's done for Druid but the ones to Warlock. Cubelock was keeping aggro decks out of the game. And the lack of aggro decks let Spiteful Druid, with its lack of early threat, into contention. If we see less Cubelock, we'll likely see more aggressive play and that in turn will wipe out Spiteful Summoner.

All is not lost for Druids, though. The slow but nasty Hadronox-based Taunt deck remains a strong contender for the class.
Witch Worry
The final change won't affect the majority of players. It targets a deck you'll only see if you're regularly playing the Wild ladder, Naga Sea Witch. It's another cost increase but instead of one, it goes up a whopping three mana.

That puts the card out of contention. And it should. It facilitated a degenerate combo that let a player spew out multiple giants on turn six.

So, if you haven't seen it, now you won't ever see it. Be glad.
