If you're sick of waiting for Gwent to come to mobile Runewards might tickle you the right way, and it's due for release on iOS later this year.

Nintendo is getting the ol’ hype machine revved up for the impending launch of Octopath Traveler. The company just released a new bite-sized trailer today highlighting some of the game’s characters.

If you guys were aware of it, Ravensword: Legacy was shaping up to be a beautiful prequel to Ravensword: Shadowlands. However despite its enthusiastic announcement earlier this year it looks like Crescent Moon is putting the game on hold for now.

The first thing that draws people in is the game's beautiful polygonal art-style, slipping in-between realistic and cartoony designs. Its choice of colour is also what makes this game pop, standing out from other RPGs and seriously differentiating it from the first in the series.

After speaking with the developers briefly, and now their post on Ravensword: Legacy's forum page, the total slow-down in communication confirmed everyone's fears. "The game has been on hold for a while - but we may pick it up again next year. The main artist had a full time job and he could only work on it a few hours a week, and then he just didn't have any more time to work on it. I'd have to find a new person to take over the job at this point; we'll see how it goes."

It's a shame, but at least they haven't stamped it with a red 'x' yet. Fingers crossed next year we'll see Ravensword: Legacy back on the cards.

It first arrived on the scene earlier this year and quickly amassed a decent-sized fanbase thanks to its enjoyable collaboration events and mix of old and new RPG styles.

The first part of its Final Fantasy Tactics event kicked off in April, then we got the Final Fantasy I crossover late last month. This latest event is set to run until September 15th and offers a ton of rewards to earn and content to get stuck into.

THE LION wearied Jupiter with his frequent complaints. "It is true, O Jupiter!" he said, "that I am gigantic in strength, handsome in shape, and powerful in attack. I have jaws well provided with teeth, and feet furnished with claws, and I lord it over all the beasts of the forest, and what a disgrace it is, that being such as I am, I should be frightened by the crowing of a cock." Jupiter replied, "Why do you blame me without a cause? I have given you all the attributes which I possess myself, and your courage never fails you except in this one instance." On hearing this the Lion groaned and lamented very much and, reproaching himself with his cowardice, wished that he might die. As these thoughts passed through his mind, he met an Elephant and came close to hold a conversation with him. After a time he observed that the Elephant shook his ears very often, and he inquired what was the matter and why his ears moved with such a tremor every now and then. Just at that moment a Gnat settled on the head of the Elephant, and he replied, "Do you see that little buzzing insect? If it enters my ear, my fate is sealed. I should die presently." The Lion said, "Well, since so huge a beast is afraid of a tiny gnat, I will no more complain, nor wish myself dead. I find myself, even as I am, better off than the Elephant."
Updated 7th December, 10:38 AM: Right on time the feline flying game Jasper's Rocket is out now on iOS.
Grab the game on the App Store now for £1.49/$1.99. Don't forget to check out our review of the game if you'd like an honest opinion.

Jasper's Rocket isn't an innuendo. It's a game about a kitty-cat attempting to fly a rocket ship while picking up bananas to pay for fuel. If you're still with me after that totally bonkers premise, then keep on reading.

Yes it's a cat flying a rocket ship in space. It may not be the most plausible but it's definitely adorable. You play as Jasper (the cat) and have somehow managed to get yourself marooned on a planet where the only currency is bananas.

With a fuel inefficient rocket, and without opposable thumbs, you've got to get as far as you possibly can without crashing into the planet, into a gas station, or into one of the numerous flying saucers.

Make your way through 120 progressively challenging goals across procedurally generated terrain, chase your own high score – or top the Game Centre's universal one – and enjoy the stunning, clean design of the mysterious planet.

Jasper's Rocket is currently in soft launch in New Zealand, but will be launching worldwide on December 7th on iOS on Apple TV.
Of grief and blushes, aptly understood
