4、
There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension was initially announced back in July where it was revealed it would be coming to mobile after launching on Steam. That time is now quickly approaching, with the point and click adventure game available to pre-order for both iOS and Android ahead of its release on December 17th.

Since arriving on Steam, There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension has received overwhelmingly positive user reviews from the 6000 plus people that took the time to give their opinion. It has been well-received by critics too, holding a very impressive 89 on Metacritic from 9 different reviews.
Captain Jim was the most frequent guest of the little house, and none was more welcome. Every day Anne loved the simple-souled, true-hearted old sailor more and more. He was as refreshing as a sea breeze, as interesting as some ancient chronicle. She was never tired of listening to his stories, and his quaint remarks and comments were a continual delight to her. Captain Jim was one of those rare and interesting people who "never speak but they say something." The milk of human kindness and the wisdom of the serpent were mingled in his composition in delightful proportions.

- "Oh, where? Not right in the village, I hope. I wouldn't like that altogether."
-
Yeesh, Square Enix has done it again. Despite the Apple Watch being a thing of the past for some developers, these guys just ploughed on as they've just teased Cosmos Rings, a new RPG for Apple Watch.

From the image is appears to be some sort of time-based runner twinned with action elements. The translucent character appears to be holding a sword in mid-swing as a timer sits below the platform, as well as a coin counter in the top left-hand corner.

At this time information is super sparse with their Cosmos Rings webpage sporting an enormous, minimalistic image of what we could be expecting, but there's plenty of room for more detail.

Check out Square Enix's website here and stay tuned for further updates.
!
-
Yesterday, at Google's I/O event, it was announced that the company's virtual reality product Google Cardboard would be coming to iOS.

Lo and behold, here it is, now available on the App Store to download for free. You'll need to buy the actual cardboard peripheral, of course, but it's all there and ready to go.

What this means is that even more people have the chance to act like a berk with a piece of cardboard in front of their face.

OK, admittedly, Google Cardboard doesn't look any more ridiculous than most other VR headsets. And at least it's cheap in comparison to those other ones.

While the app side of Cardboard supports everything from the smallest iPod to the iPad, the physical bit of cardboard you need to assemble only fits iPhones up to six inches in size, so bear that in mind.

According to The Verge, who went hands-on with it, Google Cardboard on iPhone is the same as it is on Android. The only difference is that there are few different demo apps.

If you want to step into mobile virtual reality then, iOS players, you can now do so. Download the Google Cardboard app for free on the App Store.

Then go buy yourself some cardboard goggles for a minimum price of £14.99 / $19.99.

The Partridge and the Fowler
If you were neck-deep in E3 this year you might've seen that Atari had something up its sleeve. Well, today we know that it's called the Ataribox, and it looks pretty tidy.

Much like the NES/SNES Classic, the Ataribox intends to deliver classic games and 'current content', but it remains to be seen what Atari plans to offer up.

A 'first look' email sent to fans and enquirers that states:

"Our objective is to create a new product that stays true to our heritage while appealing to both old and new fans of Atari.Inspired by classic Atari design elements (such as the iconic use of wood, ribbed lines, and raised back); we are creating a smooth design, with ribs that flow seamlessly all around the body of the product, a front panel that can be either wood or glass, a front facing logo, indicator lights that glow through the material, and an array of new ports (HDMI, 4xUSB, SD). We intend to release two editions: a wood edition, and a black/red edition."

So far there's little else to see as the company's sharing information in stages, rather than unloading all at once. We'll let you know when we know more.
Source.
